Holiday Pajama Jamboree Concert Dec. 2, 2020

Festival City SymphonyFestival City Symphony is excited to announce the first concert of the 2020-2021 season. The free Holiday Pajama Jamboree will take place Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts.  Featuring FCS Music Director Carter Simmons and student narrator Abby Hanna, the orchestra will perform traditional holiday favorites, including Frosty the Snowman, “Waltz of the Flowers” from The Nutcracker, and Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride.

Safety will be a priority. Although attendance is free, seats will be limited and reservations will be required. Geared towards children and their families, Festival City Symphony’s Pajama Jamboree concerts are each one hour in length and include narration to educate children about the music and instruments of the orchestra.  Casual dress is encouraged, including pajamas, teddy bears, and blankets!  Pajama Jamborees are best suited for children in K4 through fifth grade.

The Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts is located at 3270 Mitchell Park Drive in Brookfield. 

Milwaukee’s Festival City Symphony is a classical symphony orchestra that showcases area professional musicians. The symphony’s mission is to extend the reach of classical music in the community with reasonable pricing, interesting themes, and informative formats that embrace people of all ages.

Please note the following safety precautions in place to ensure a fun, safe, and physically distanced holiday experience for all guests! From the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center:

  • All holiday performances will take place in The Harris Theater and seating will be limited to 25% capacity (no more than 150 tickets sold).

  • The Jorgensen Stage in our Harris Theater features continuous air circulation.

  • This performance will be approximately 45 minutes without an intermission.

  • To encourage physical distancing, once we receive your ticket order, our box office will pre-assign seats within your purchased section to ensure your group is sat together and at a safe distance from other parties. If we have questions about your order, we will contact you.

  • To ensure physical distance between artists and audience, the first three rows of the main floor will not be seated.

  • Face masks will be required for staff, volunteers, and patrons at all times in our venue.

  • Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the building.

  • A methodical cleaning process of all public spaces in our venue will occur between every show.

  • Additional information about your performance experience will be sent to your email address no less than 72 hours prior to your performance.
